It’s called cognitive dissonance. When people make choices, they ignore all other evidence that doesn’t support their choice, instead twisting it in their mind illogically to further ‘prove’ their choice. It’s how gamblers rationalize thowing good money after bad, Bush got a second term (that and some irregularity at the polls), and it’s how people continue to drink coffee despite the fact that it tastes like bitter dirt.
What I’m trying to say, I guess, is that I’m a tea drinker. Stay tuned next time for more shocking confessions of the beverage kind.

Well, I’m not going quite that far back to basics. But everything needs a place to start. Therefore I offer you this post. Having just started this blog back up it is extremely likely, in fact I’d lay down money on it, that it’ll probably suck.
